Tal Doron was a beautiful and brave little 4 year old girl who passed away in August 2007, following a difficult battle with a malignant brain tumor.
The Wings Of An Angel campaign was started in memory of Tal and represents the beauty and freedom inherent in butterflies, as well as the fact that they are considered to be a spiritual symbol for growth and rebirth. It is said that in order for a caterpillar to grow its wings and transform into a butterfly, it must go through many struggles. Sadly, no matter how much Tal struggled, she was not able to win her fight for freedom from this awful disease, as there is still too little known about how to treat brain tumours,despite them being the number one cause of death by cancer in children under 20.
By purchasing this bracelet, you are helping to raise funds needed for vital research aimed at learning more about paediatric brain tumours (causes, treatments and cure), as well as helping to provide support to families with children battling this disease.
